Inspired by my outback travels some years back. I love the rich contrasting colours of the outback and that rich red earth. I am always fascinated by the beauty of trees and for some reason I am particularly drawn to dead trees. I love their raw naked sculptural beauty. Even though dead, they look so strong and still provide for so much life. They are integral to their local ecosystem above and below the ground and surrounded by so much life.
