Inspired by my outback travels some years back. I love the rich contrasting colours of the outback and that rich red earth. It’s amazing how the landscape bounces back to life even after a little rain.
The bushes and shrubs fill out a little more, the trees stretch and little wildflowers spring up as if from nowhere. I often see symbolism in my paintings, and this one is about embracing new growth - opportunities for learning and change.
