“High Country” was painted as we Melburnians learned that our second and lengthy lock-down period due to COVID-19 was ending and travel restrictions were easing. In fact the “ring of steel” boundary between Melbourne and regional Victoria would no longer be in place. So this is where my heart and mind took my paintbrush … it’s now a reality to be able to visit one of our favourite destinations any time of the year.
I hope this painting brings you a sense of freedom, exploration and re-discovery of places you like to visit.
