This is a textured oil painting on a custom-made wood panel. It sits in a Tasmanian Oak floating frame. Felt pads have been placed on the back corners to protect your wall and D-rings and wire has been attached making it ready to hang. This painting comes with its unique story and a certificate of authenticity.
My paintings are inspired by the beauty of nature and are often quite symbolic in their creation. “Billy Button Morning” invites the opportunity for reflection on new beginnings and what may lie ahead for you.
I love to paint on wood, I study its contours and see what is already taking shape before my eyes. In this case the path meandering through the landscape to the distant mountains has preserved the underlying wood panel in clear gloss varnish. The path might symbolise your personal choices and the continuous process of self-discovery.
The golden tones prompt thoughts and emotions of hope, gratitude and serenity.
I hope this painting brings you a sense of joy, hope and peace about what lays ahead of you!
