“The Love Protea” was inspired by the protea buds hiding in our garden.
Those who follow my paintings will know that I have a strong connection with nature. I love finding new flowers blooming. Such a welcomed gift in your garden. These beauties really came to life after pruning. This painting has many layers of different colours. The background is of lighter colours for the protea and all of its energy, passion and love to pop out against.
