I love to paint on wood panel. The natural grains help to inspire and direct the painting. This painting incorporates some of the natural woodgrain in the distant mountains and the meandering road. This is a cute little painting of a typical scene in Gippsland, regional Victoria, particularly during the winter months – green hills, sheep grazing, fileds ploughed.
